About Swati Chokalingam MD, F.A.C.O.G.
Swati Chokalingam MD is an experienced Obstetrician, Gynecologist and surgeon
who has been practicing medicine in Massachusetts for over twenty years. She is
a board certified Obstetrician Gynecologist and a Fellow of the prestigious American College
of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG).
Dr. Chokalingam did her internship and four year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Brighton, Massachusetts. She did her
two year surgical
residency at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. She is currently an
active staff member at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center where she performs most
of her Gynecological surgeries and all of her deliveries. In 2004, Dr.
Chokalingam was appointed as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and
Gynecology at the Tufts University School of
Medicine.
Swati Chokalingam MD has
been named to the
2005 Harvard Pilgrim Health Care's Physician Group Honor Roll for Adult
Practices. Harvard Pilgrim selected her based on her performance against
national quality benchmarks. Each physician selected for the honor exceeded the
national average in selected preventive and chronic care measures.
Over the years, Dr. Chokalingam has delivered several thousand healthy babies,
performed several thousand successful Gynecological surgeries and seen thousands
of satisfied patients.
